Tennis Factory are the club’s tennis coaching providers and have been recognised with multiple awards for coaching excellence for club and junior coaching by Tennis Australia, Tennis West and the WA Dept of Sport & Rec.
At Tennis Factory, we believe tennis can be played by anyone of any age – from beginner through to tournament players. Our coaches are passionate about the game and provide our junior and adult players lots of opportunities to play; whether that’s coaching, drills, Cardio Tennis or providing options to compete.
We truly value you and your experiences with us, striving for excellence in all that we do. Our goal is for you to love visiting the club, knowing you’ll enjoy yourself and that you’ll receive the highest quality service both on and off the court. We believe our coaches are the best in Perth, and we’re confident that a lesson with us will lead to your improvement and progress. Whatever your goals may be, we are committed to helping you achieve them while ensuring you have fun – because enjoyment is at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated and passionate staff, who love the game and thrive on teamwork, are essential in delivering an exceptional coaching program for you to enjoy.
Whether you’re just starting to learn the game, or you are an advanced pennant player we have a program for you. We offer coaching for beginner to intermediate players and drills sessions for advanced players.
If fitness and tennis is your thing, then why not attend one of our Cardio Tennis sessions which gives you a workout and you can practice your strokes too.
Tennis Factory is at the forefront of junior coaching in Australia, with its Hot Shots program recognised nationally with awards from Tennis Australia.
Players can start from as young as 3.5 years of age and progress through a comprehensive coaching program with tiers to suit the level of the player to ensure each junior is playing in the right age appropriate and level for their skill. Our junior program has 4 tiers –
Develop > Progress > Perform > Compete
For our top juniors we have a Performance program overseen by Performance Manager Harry Wilmott-Stanton. Harry offers a dynamic group training environment with the focus on working hard and learning to become a better competitor.
Leading the team, Matt is one of only four Tennis Australia Master Club Professional coaches in WA and is recognised by Tennis Australia as one of the top Club and Tennis Hot Shots coaches in Australia – the only WA coach to have been nominated for both categories at the Australian Tennis Awards, and to have won one of the awards. Matt has a background teaching across all levels, including as a Tennis Australia Talent Development Coach working with juniors playing at a national level.
Matt is regarded as a leader in the tennis coaching industry for his vision and drive to help tennis clubs grow their membership and thrive; becoming valuable places for local communities to gather, play and socialise. On-court he is passionate about getting as many people as possible playing the game and to help them become the best players they can be, commensurate with Tennis Factory’s slogan ‘Building Better Players’.
